ARTOURS
experience world class art in local art museum

GUIDED TOURS
During your school tour, students learn about art in the
current exhibit, how to look at art, and how to read exhibit
labeling. Tours are focused on an art theme that is well
demonstrated in a few pieces of art in the exhibit.
We suggest 30 - 40 minutes for a guided tour.
Guided tours are $1 per student.

GUIDED TOUR WITH LESSON FOR SCHOOL GROUPS
In addition to a guided tour of the Museum, students can
take part in a post-tour art lesson in our art studio.
The art lesson reinforces the theme explored in the tour
and gives students a hands-on opportunity to use this
theme in their own work. The guided tour with art activity is
appromiately 75 minutes. Guided Tours for school groups
with an art lesson are $2 per student.

SELF-GUIDED TOURS
Self-Guided Tours are available to schools and youth
groups and must be scheduled at a minimum of two
weeks in advance. Teachers must review Museum Manners
(please see below) prior to the visit. We request at least
one chaperone per 10 students. We suggest 30 minutes
for the tour.

TO SCHEDULE A TOUR
Please fill out the Tour Request Form and return it to
the Museum by mail or FAX. To schedule a tour by
phone or email, please contact Alexa Stanger at

must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance.
