MAKE A MESS with Margie Zirker, Ages 3 – 4
February 7 – 28, Tuesdays, 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Have fun, get messy and be creative with your kids! Children make a new discovery in art each week working side-by side with their favorite grown-up.
$25 member, $30 non-member

PAINTING & MIXED MEDIA with Leslie Harris, Ages 13 – 15
February 7 – 28, Tuesdays, 4:00 – 5:30 pm
This course introduces a variety of painting techniques including how artists experiment with brushstroke, color, shape, and texture. In addition to using acrylic paint, young artists in this course will work in mixed media and discover new methods of self-expression.
$30 member, $35 non-member

ART ATTACK: UNTAMED TEXTURE with Melody Shurtliff, Ages 6 – 8

Lumpy, bumpy, rough and smooth - create art with feeling! Use thick paint, clay and some unexpected materials to make outstanding art.

PORTFOLIO FOR TEENS with David Jones, Ages 16 – 18
February 8 – 29, Wednesdays, 5:30 – 7:30 pm
This weekly two-hour class is designed for young artists. Work independently on artwork with hands-on guidance to develop your portfolio in drawing, painting or any media.

FIVE! with Alexa Stanger, Age 5
March 6 – 27, Tuesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm
A class just for five year olds! This session focuses on the art of Miro, a famous Spanish artist who used bright colors and created imaginative forms both on canvas and in sculpture. With an emphasis on fun and exploration, we will create playful art using materials including paint, pastels, and wooden shapes.
