ART ATTACK with Alexa Stanger
Wednesdays, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm, Ages 6 - 8 yrs.
With a strong emphasis on technical growth through exploration and self-expression, Art Attack is designed to help students build confidence and independence in the creative process.

Session I: Oct 8, 15, 22 & 29. On the Outside: Non-traditional artists create unusual, imaginative and powerful artwork. Each week, young artists will get inspiration from an “outsider” artist and create their own one-of-a-kind masterpieces, exploring a variety of painting and sculpture styles using recycled art materials.

Session II: Nov 19, Dec 3, 10 & 17. Powerful Portraits: Explore portraits created by diverse artists from Picasso to the Parson family. Create a cool self-portrait, imaginary portraits and portraits of special people in your family. Students will explore 2D and 3D methods, using pencil, paint, clay, and molded paper!

$25 member, $30 non-member per 4-week session

ART STUDIO with Amy Proffitt
Thursdays, 3:30 pm – 4:45 pm, Ages 9 - 13 yrs.
Challenge yourself and grow in new abilities! Art Studio is a class for kids who love art, have taken other classes and are ready for the next level. Get individual attention, explore new ideas, and create amazing works of art.

Session I: Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30. Printmaking Studio: Learn about the various approaches to printmaking and create your own prints using block printing, monoprinting and collage.

Session II: Nov 20, Dec 4, 11, 18. Sculpture Studio: Work with a variety of three-dimensional materials including clay, cardboard, wood and metal to create outstanding and unique sculptures.

$30 member, $35 non-member per 4-week session

MAKE A MESS with Miyai Abe
Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21, 28, 1 pm – 2 pm, Ages 3 - 4 yrs.
Have fun, get messy and be creative with your kids! Children make a new discovery in art each week working side-by-side with their favorite grown-up.
$25 member, $30 non-member

EXHIBIT DISCOVERY CLASS: James Castle with Alexa Stanger
Saturday, October 25, 10 am – 12 pm, Ages 7 - 11 yrs.
View and explore the unusual handmade books created by legendary Idaho artist James Castle and join Alexa Stanger in the creation of your own unique book! Students will use collage, drawing and paint to design their own works of art.
$12 member, $15 non-member
