Color Mixing For Painters
with Sarah Sedwick

Would you like to create more realistic paintings, while loosening up your brushwork at the same time? Are you looking for a simpler, more logical approach to color mixing? This fun and intense two-day workshop will focus on the essentials of realistic painting (value, color, and brushstrokes), with an emphasis on keeping your work loose and painterly. Beginning with value, moving on to black and white, and detouring through complementary colors, we will conclude by mixing up a full spectrum of colors using a three-primary color palette. This workshop is still-life based, and instruction will be in oils, though acrylics are more than welcome.

$150 TAM Members, $175 Non-Members
Pre-registration is required.
Class size is limited.
