What are the Museum’s hours?
The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm. On
Thursdays, the Museum is open 10 am - 8 pm.
What are the Museum’s admission prices?
Admission is by donation.
How do I get to the Museum?
From I-15 take the Broadway exit; turn east on Broadway. After crossing the
Broadway Bridge, take the first right turn (south) onto Capital Avenue. The Museum
is on right, just south of the Idaho Falls City Electrical Building (and the
red/white/blue water tower).
How do I arrange a Museum tour for school children?
The Museum’s docents (teacher-guides) lead tours of exhibits for groups of
students when arranged in advance. Students will learn about the artwork in the
exhibit, how to look at art, and how to read exhibit labeling. Museum tours
provide students with personal contact with original works of art.
Tours with exhibit related art lessons are available. Tours are available on
Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 am, 11 am, and 1 pm. Tours fill up rapidly, so
please make requests at least three weeks in advance.
Please check out our
ARTours page.
