ABOUT

Mission Statement

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho (TAM) operates in the public trust as a museum of service and as a regional leader in the visual arts. TAM promotes the power of the arts to educate, inspire and enhance the lives of individuals of all ages and abilities in eastern Idaho. To ensure the arts are an integral part of living for the youngest to the oldest citizen, TAM showcases rotating art exhibits, acquires and displays artwork–particularly works by Idaho artists–and provides extensive art educational opportunities.

Vision Statement

As the premier visual arts organization in eastern Idaho, The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho (TAM) serves as a catalyst for creative engagement between the arts and individuals of all ages and abilities in the regional communities that we serve. Through a wide variety of innovative fine art exhibitions and stimulating educational programming, TAM is an effective and respected visual arts resource. By providing vital opportunities so that the arts are a basic component of every child’s education, TAM works in partnership with area educators in preparing the next generation of leaders with the crucial skills needed to succeed in the 21st Century and in ensuring that the language of art continues to thrive within future generations.
