Still Life Art – Students will learn variations on this timeless tradition of art genre by using fabric, photo collage, mosaic and mixed media.

WEDNESDAY, FEB 5 - 26, 3:30 - 4:30PM
Weaving: Weaving has been an artistic tradition for thousands of years. During this month, we’ll make it modern with various materials and techniques.

WEDNESDAY, MAR 5 - 26, 3:30 - 4:30PM
Assemblage: Students will “assemble” various materials to create mini sculptures that express their own personalities and interests.

WEDNESDAY, APR 2 – 30, 3:30 – 4:30PM
Digital Photography for Me – Students will use museum-provided digital cameras to learn about composition, special effects, and portraiture using technology.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 7 – 28, 3:30 – 4:30PM
Nature Inspired Art – Robert Louis Stevenson once wrote, “The world is so full of a number of things, I think we should all be as happy as kings!” Students will explore the world around them to create nature-inspired works of art.
